| | As a creative , getting feedback can be both daunting and empowering. It took me a while to understand that criticism can be a valuable tool for growth, and I've come to embrace imperfections and use it as an opportunity for self-improvement.
When I first began my art career, I received a lot of criticism for my style, technique and overall execution of my works. It was hard to take and I felt quite discouraged, but I didnt let it stop me. I decided to take this opportunity to learn and grow. I read books, asked for feedback and practiced every day. I eventually learned that criticism isnt always bad; it can be a great tool for self-improvement. I started to see it as a way to learn from others and to identify areas where I could grow. I also learned to take a step back and not take things too personally.
Ive come to understand that none of us are perfect, and that's okay. Embracing imperfections means accepting that we all have flaws and its okay to make mistakes. Its about being open to learning and growing, rather than trying to be perfect. By embracing criticism, we can become better creatives and better individuals. |
